Special occasion hair at Bronde Blvd starts with a thorough consultation because the best styles aren't just beautiful, they're also built for the event. Your stylist takes into account your hair type, face shape, outfit, and the atmosphere of the occasion to design something that genuinely complements the full look.

Special occasion styling is priced based on the complexity of the style, your hair's length and thickness, and whether any additional services, such as extensions or accessories, are involved. A simple blowout and a multi-strand bridal updo are very different appointments.

For bridal and large group bookings, we can also discuss on-location styling or group appointment scheduling. Just let us know what you need when you reach out.

For most special occasion appointments, booking 2–4 weeks in advance is ideal. For weddings, we recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date. Bridal appointments are our most requested and fill up months ahead.

Prom season tip: Book your prom appointment as early as possible. Spring availability fills up fast — don't wait until the week before to reach out.

Come to your appointment with clean, dry hair unless your stylist advises otherwise. Bring inspiration photos and any hair accessories you'd like incorporated into the style.

Use a sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Avoid anything containing alcohol, which dries out the hair and shortens the life of your extensions. We recommend Kevin Murphy or Unite products.

Most styles hold better and last longer on clean, dry hair. Wash your hair the night before or morning of your appointment unless your stylist specifically asks for second-day texture for your particular style.

Hair clips, pins, combs, veils, flowers, or any other accessories you plan to wear, bring them to your appointment. Your stylist will work them into the design and position them where they look best.

For weddings and major events, a trial run a week or two beforehand is strongly recommended. It removes all uncertainty, gives you the chance to refine anything, and takes one big thing off your plate on the actual day.

Complex updos and formal styles can take 60–90 minutes. Build buffer time into your event day. Don't cut it too close. Discuss timing with your stylist when you book so you know exactly how long to plan for.

Avoid applying heavy oils, serums, or leave-ins to your hair before your appointment. Too much product buildup makes it harder for styles to hold. Your stylist will use the right products during your appointment.
